This book is where things started to pick up speed for me, I think I re-read the roof scene at the end at least five times as I waited for Book 3.

6/18/11 - Oh, Bran, you red herring you. And speaking of Red, I can't stand that little monster (to the point where I wanted to skip his paragraph in MAGIC BITES). Loved the Kate and Derek time, loved the Kate and Curran soup scene, and loved
the Kate-Curran-Bran time (Bran chasing Kate naked down the hallway? The image of Curran clenching his fists for self control is priceless). In my mind, the moment when Kate tells Curran she would have traded the cauldron lid for Julie in a heartbeat is the moment when she seals her fate as his future mate.
