I finished this book with a "meh". Predictable tropes, rather flat characters, and humor that falls entirely flat. Nothing annoyed me to the point that I stopped reading, but I think that was luck more than anything else. The chemistry was pretty forgettable, and Lucie's naive waif persona was pretty obnoxious.
