I was slower to buy this SKIN book, not fascinated enough by the brief glimpse of Zeke in the prior book to rush out and buy. I regret the delay, as SKIN HEAT proved to a gripping, fascinating read. While I agree with other reviewers (about the serial killer plot being over the top), the relationship between Zeke and Neva more than made up for any plot short comings. Zeke was complex and interesting, I found the symptoms of his condition fascinating and feel Gray brought things to a happy ending without diluting the realities of Zeke's state. As for the romance, Zeke and Neva's relationship was smoking hot, and one I know I'll return to read again in the future.
